Question by indiechick: Can you deduct elementary school tuition from your taxes?
We would like to send our child to a private elementary school in a couple of years. The tuition is 12K. We will probably have an income of 100K at that time. Can you deduct elementary school education from your taxes or are there any tax breaks for this type of thing?
Shoot. We'll just have to apply to one of the magnet schools. 12k is tough with no tax breaks.
