    Review

"This is a very useful reference for those dealing with patients with atypical features of bipolarity. The authors have done an excellent job of presenting the difficult to treat but commonly prevalent forms of bipolar disorder."
Doody's Review Service®"On the whole, the book is well integrated and easy to read. The editors have made an impressive effort to ensure that the material flows naturally and without duplication...the book accomplishes its core task of presenting scientific and biologic knowledge about various forms of bipolar disorder"
Psychiatric Services"The book is extensively referenced...this is a book to have and to read, appropriate for, and likely to be enjoyed by, both interested clinicians and learned 'Bipolarologists' alike."
Victor I. Reus, Journal of Clinical Psychiatry"In summary, Marneros and Goodwin have gathered the available evidence supporting the utility and rationale for evaluating BD along a continuum, rather than catigorically."
Po W. Wang, MD, The Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease"Bipolar Disorders is heave reading, but in terms of useful ideas per page it is high value...There is a great deal to learn here but the rewards are greater treatment success and personal satisfaction."
Journal of the Canadian Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

This is an excellent book on Mixed States and Rapid Cycling of Bipolar Disorder.I consists mainly of scientific studies and gives a very balanced view of the current thinking.Other books on the disorder don't mention these peculiar forms of the illness and this book fills that gap.I suffer from Mixed States and Rapid Cycling forms of Bipolar Disorder and found the book very informative because it give information on types not covered by other books.
