Five stars!!! The author's suggested treatment for manic depression has been a god send for me!! I realized after being on the treatment for a month that I was feeling better than I ever have. I stopped taking lithium after the first month of treatment. I have been off of lithium (which was the only medication i took) since january. I now only rarely go through something like the depression I used to feel. It only happens when I don't get enough sleep or/and I overexert myself mentally or physically.I sleep a lot better now and sleep deprivation doesn't happen very often. When i'm sleep deprived or stressed out I make sure to increase my supplementation ie. take more magnesium, calcium, zinc, vitamin b than usual. I now have the energy draining physical depression under control. The habit of thinking negative is something that doesn't just go away when the physical depression goes away though. I am in the process of becoming more positive. I am a lot more energetic and positive than I used to be. Years of severe manic depression have given me brain damage and healing this is the main thing I am working on in my life right now. I am currently playing single n back on cognitivefun.net and these n back working memory games have been reported to increase people's intelligence. The more you play them the more intelligent you are supposed to become. It's supposed to take 4 weeks to feel the intelligence boost. I've been playing the n back game for about an hour every day for 22 days and I can feel my brain starting to wake up. I recommend this game or a free game called dual n back that you can download under the name of brain workshop 4.8 for anyone trying to heal brain damage or just trying to improve their intelligence.
